Curriculum alignment capability

A strategic learning systems and educational content partner for organisations that need curriculum, publishing, digital learning and technology delivered at scale.

What we take off your desk

Four services. Clear outputs. One point of accountability.

01

Curriculum & content development

New series built from the framework up, and existing titles realigned to the latest curriculum: scope and sequence, curriculum architecture, and authored content for K–12, ELT and adult learning. Grounded in Science of Reading and structured literacy where it applies.

02

Adaptation & localisation

Take an existing series into a new market. We remap it to local standards, re-level the content, run cultural and compliance review, and produce bilingual editions without losing the pedagogy that made it work.

03

Digital conversion & production

One source, every format. Interactive eBooks for tablets and the web, tagged question banks, and content structured for your LMS, plus the audio and video that bring a unit to life. We also convert backlists.

04

Assessment & quality assurance

Diagnostic, formative and summative instruments tagged by Bloom’s level and difficulty. QA is multi-reviewer and covers editorial, pedagogical and digital checks, with every issue logged, triaged and closed.

From Theory to Tool: The Pedagogy Unpacking Process

Two-phase diagram. Phase 1, Unpacking the Complexity: Analyzing Pedagogical Needs — identify and deconstruct complex academic requirements into core instructional components; Rooted in Academic Theory — ensure all content development is grounded in established educational research and principles. Phase 2, Architecting the Framework: Building Structured Frameworks — organize deconstructed needs into logical, effective learning pathways for students; Interactive Instructional Tools — transform frameworks into practical materials for digital platforms and traditional publishing; Multi-Platform Application — ensure the final educational experience is optimized for diverse learning environments.

Case studies

Our work is in classrooms, not just in proposals.

Case study · National programme

Three subjects, two languages, print and digital, for every school in the country.

Client
Department of Basic Education, South Africa

Scope
Grades 10–12 · CAPS-aligned

The challenge

Develop Learner Books and Teacher Guides for three grades in three subjects: Business Studies, Computer Applications Technology and Information Technology. The subjects were funded by two corporate partners, Absa and MTN. Every title was needed in English and Afrikaans, in print and digital formats, for schools with very different infrastructure.

What our team did

  • Led all three subjects in parallel, from concept to national publication
  • Directed the curriculum and author teams, with CAPS alignment checked throughout
  • Managed bilingual production and consistency between editions
  • Delivered print-ready PDF and interactive HTML5 and ePub3 editions
  • Reported to the Department and to both funders against their own requirements

Case study · Oil & gas sector

We found the real problem before writing a single unit.

Client
Engineering & oil and gas university, Middle East
Programme
CEFR-aligned general and technical English
Scope
Needs analysis → framework → materials

The challenge

The university needed a new English programme for trainee engineers. Departments disagreed on what the programme had to fix, and no evidence base existed to settle it.

The rigour

The report went through three rounds of academic review. The framework was then quality-assured by three kinds of specialist: academic standards, curriculum design and classroom practice. Every comment was logged, rated by impact and closed before authoring began.

What our team did

  • Led a baseline learner needs analysis on site, with survey instruments designed by psychometricians
  • Surveyed trainees, technical trainers and language instructors, observed classes and interviewed leadership
  • Turned the findings into a Pre-A1 master curriculum framework, then A1 workbooks and teacher guides

1,750

Trainees surveyed

306

Technical trainers and language instructors surveyed

~25

Leadership and senior stakeholder interviews

85

Framework review comments, triaged and closed

The finding that reshaped the curriculum

Trainees studied English in year one and technical subjects in year two, yet technical trainers were still teaching vocabulary. So we moved technical language into year one.
